So I was just reading some complaints about Abercrombie & Fitch on this website dedicated to letting parents show their displeasure about Abercrombie Customer Service. I was actually a bit amused by some of the complaints on this website <http://www.my3cents.com/companyreview.cgi?compid=214&subcat=6>.
First of all, the grammar is awful. These are late fourty to early fifty-year-old adults and they cannot even string together a decent sentence, which greatly detracts from their arguement.
Secondly, they are complaining about Abercrombie on a website that Customer Service representatives of Abercrombie & Fitch will probably never see. Not only that, but even if a Customer Service representative really wanted to help these people, they would have no way of contacting the accuser because they left no name, no email, and no telephone number.
Thirdly, one woman was complaining because the teenagers in Abercrombie were "rude and unhelpful" and then continued her argument by saying "If I treated a customer like that, I would be fired." They do not realize that every single Abercrombie & Fitch has over 150 employees with new employees being hired everyday. So if the customer happens to run across a rude employee, that employee WILL be fired, hands down. And if not, the next time the customer goes into the store (because they will, however many times they say they won't), the chances of them running into the "rude and unhelpful" employee are slim to none. Remember, we are competing for hours with 149 other employees.
Fourthly, this one woman complained because she went shopping on Black Friday and they were out of the jacket that her daughter wanted. She then proceeds to complain about the price of the jacket. a. You are shopping on BLACK FRIDAY, the busiest shopping day of the year! Of course you can't find what you want. b. Its abercrombie and fitch, its expensive because no matter how many people complain, they will still buy the stuff because there will always be demand. Abercrombie can do whatever they want.
I understand that Abercrombie & Fitch isn't the best place for customer service, teenagers work there who are mostly ready to do some post-high school rebellion and "stick it to the man." I understand that it is expensive. But the truth still remains that you are still buying the cloths along with the 4.5 million (rough estimate) other customers who complain about it everyday, so why even bother complaining?
Here's my Ten Cents.

Its awsome when people get a taste of their own medicine.
See what I mean honey? I was a REAL friend, and the people who were your "friends" when you peaced out on me weren't. Glad to see you are realizing that now. I wasn't just a car ride for you, I was ALWAYS there, you were just to self concerned about having "beautiful friends" to realize that.
mmhmm

I would like you to just go visit this website:
http://www.americanapparel.net/gall ery/photocollections/models/index.html
Normally I am absolutely fond of companies who don't go with the cookie cutter models, but there is a line that needs to be drawn.
The girls on this website are very pretty. But maybe its just the photographer who needs to be replaced or maybe its the trying to be too risque poses that these young ladies are doing that bothers me.
I mean honestly, these pictures look a little too sophmoric to me. Seriously, these are the kind of pictures I took when I was in high school and trying to make myself look sexy. But obviously all those poses do is make the person look like they have down syndrom. They are unflattering and it seriously bothers me that American Apparel is posting these up for the world to see.
They only have a few photo shoots in a studio. A lot of the photoshoots look like they were done in someones shitty apartment.
And the photography, holy crap. I KNOW I can do a better job than this. American Apparel prides themself on having cloths MADE in america and models who are average. There are a lot of average photographers that can do much better than that. I think that they need to raise their standards a little. Seriously these pictures look like they were taken with a little point and shoot or a disposable camera. They might as well have used a camera phone for all the quality these pictures have.
I really think I'm offended by these. Mostly because if I was a model for them I would want to smile and present myself in a tasteful manner. Or if I was a photographer for their shoots I would spend a little more time making sure that the models didn't look like white trash.
If you think I'm overreacting, I would be delighted to delete your hate-mail in my inbox. I'm sure what you have to say has a lot of thought put into it, but this is a subject which my mind will not be changed.
Once again, I think the models are beautiful and I'm glad that AA are using models who have a healthy appetite, but they are making these girls pose in untasteful ways which I don't appreciate. And there are plenty of wonferful pictures in there but the majority of the photographs are, for lack of a better word, AWFUL.
Okay I'm done writing an essay.

Anyone can have a good style if they have enough money. Therefore, if you have a lot of money, you are able to shop at places like Nordy's and Urban and designer stores which practically have outfits ready made.
Of course there are exceptions, I'm not here to bag on people with a lot of money. One can have an amazing style and shop at Forever or even Marshalls. But where I'm getting at is that you never see a rich girl with horrid style. You only see rich girls, who can use daddy's credit card every month, wearing stylish clothing. Its just a fact of life.
I am not a rich girl, and I consider my style to be average because the only stores that I can afford to shop at are Hollister, Marshalls, and Forever 21. Oh yes, and Target. And lets face it, the clothing at those stores are either too trendy or out of season.
So when you are saying that my style is just like everyone elses, you are a NOT WRONG dick. But when you judge my personality and my IQ based on what I wear, that is where you need to be punched in the balls. Or vagina. I am twenty times more intelligent and fun than all those rich girls who own every pair of juicy sweats and wear only custom made bras. I don't waste my time worrying about "Coach or LV?"
I'm glad I dont own a designer purse. The only designer shit I own are my glasses and my sunglasses and I paid for those with my own hard earned money. AND I need them.
Thats all I have to say on this subject for now.

Fuck girls who act like they want to hang out but really don't. The only reason they say they want to hang out is because it makes them feel better about themselves. They are like "lets hang out" so if you can't, then they don't look like the bad guy cuz they say they are making effort. But I see right through them. talk is cheap. and I'm done wasting my time.

How I miss the Simple days of childhood.
I'm an adult, I have responsibilty.
When did that happen?
and the next best question:
How do I make it stop?

Just when you think your bad week can't get any worse, the impossible happens. Kevin Normington, my long-time best friend was killed Thursday March 1, 2007 at 10 pm in a car accident on arrow hwy. You never realize how terrible it is to lose someone so close to you until it happens. When I found out, I was in shock. I didn't cry because I knew I had to be strong for my best friend, Kaiya, who is Kevin's cousin. I had to be strong for everyone else, so I held back my tears and tried my hardest to comfort my friends.
I've never seen out school so silent before in my life. Kevin wasn't just some guy at school. He was our superman. Everyone knew him, everyone loved him. He is the kind of guy that you meet once and he leaves footprints on your heart forever.
So when he died, he wasn't just missed by his family, or by a group of friends. He was missed by an entire school, an entire community.
Here is an article from the Inland Valley Newspaper:
In the eyes of his peers, Kevin Normington was known as Superman. The 17-year-old senior was a captain of the football team and well-liked by many of the 1,800 students at Bonita High School in La Verne. "He had the nickname Superman because he was always there to help," said longtime friend Anthony Di Giulio, 17. But on Thursday night, as Kevin drove about 10 p.m. to his mother's house in Upland after work, his Scion xB collided with an oncoming car. The collision took place at Arrow Highway and Fulton Road in Pomona. Fire and police officers from La Verne and Pomona responded to the scene and provided medical aid to Kevin, who had been ejected from his car. He could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene. Driver Craig Diss, 23, of Irvine, and passenger Sajan Hansji, 24, of Pomona, who were traveling in the second car, were treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. No one has been cited, police said. On Friday, memorials were set up for Kevin at Bonita High's quad and the crash scene. As the La Verne Fire Department cleaned up the sidewalk on Friday near the memorial at the intersection, friends and family members came to mourn. "I didn't know anyone that did not like him," said Kevin's cousin Kaiya Agapay, 17, who sat on the ground next to flowers, signs dedicated to No. 55 (Kevin's uniform number) and a Superman balloon. She said Kevin, who worked at Warehouse Pizza in La Verne, would have been 18 on March 22. "He was a giant teddy bear," she said about the 6-foot-2, 255-pound offensive tackle. On Friday night, a group of about 100 students, including the school's varsity football team, met at Warehouse Pizza and then went to the crash scene for a vigil. "The campus has been in shock all day," football coach Eric Podley said. "I haven't seen it this shocked or quiet on campus before." Although Kevin was still deciding what to do after graduating in June, friends said he wanted to play football in college, perhaps at the University of La Verne. "He was a real leader on the team," Podley said. "(They all) looked up to him."
My heart is broken. Kevin wouldn't want me to be sad, he would tell me "Just because my life ended doesn't mean your life has to."
Bonita High School lossed a truely amazing man. Life is going to be different without him. He will always be our superman.

As the dark blanket of night drifts gingerly over my town I close my eyes and dream of tomorrow. I am not looking towards the future, rather, the future is looking towards me. The crystal ball, known more commonly as the moon, shows me that great things lie ahead; I know not how or when these great things will happen, all I know is that I should stay optimistic. My heart will guide me, and my head will keep me out of trouble.
So many times I have held onto the past, yet now I know if I hold on to old life mistakes I will not have room to grasp a new life. If I hold onto the cold rainy days and the spilt coffee all over my white cotten top, I will not have room for the bright sunny days and the swaying palm trees. No longer will I take a glass and say it is half empty, instead I will look at it as half full.
Laughter will be my mistress. I will thrive off of joy and smiles. I will not wake up to my alarm and beg for more sleep, I will welcome the new day with open arms and an irresistable smile. I will not walk with my head down, but with my head held high staring the world in the face.

A round ticking hour
with a coy pulsation
strikes eleven-eleven modestly
This hour being one for
hoping,
dreaming,
holds secrets of phenomenal proportions
The only sound is the
shy tick-tock of the
few remaining seconds
which show the true colors of time
tapping closer to minute twelve
awaiting the wishes of the world
it holds its breath
then sighs as the long hand
slides gracefully to the right
Another minute the world cannot get back
